St. Michael's fortress
There are four fortresses in Sibenik, from which St. Michael's fortress is the oldest and most famous. It features the best panoramic view of the area around Sibenik. The reason for the construction of the fortress was defence from The Turkish army, which on several occasions tried to conquer Šibenik, but never succeeded.
Ticket price is 50 kuna (around 6.5 euros). The ticket is valid also for visiting Barone fortress.

Barone is second and the most visited fortress in Sibenik. It features high tech Museum with the technology of augmented reality. The technology is used to virtualize the battle for Sibenik that took place in 1647 when Osman army attacked Sibenik.
Just like other fortresses, Barone features a panoramic view of Sibenik, coffee bar with unique coffee taste and affordable price which is less than two euros.
St. Nicholas fortress
St Nicholas fortress will be tourist hit in 2019. The fortress located on the sea entrance in Sibenik is really fascinating. In 2017. it became part of UNESCO world heritage, and since then has attracted lots of interest among visitors.
In 2019. the only way of visiting the fortress would be from seaside because the landside entrance is not yet reconstructed and safe. Official opening day is not yet known, but it will be before summer 2019.

St. Anthony's channel
St. Anthony's channel is the most beautiful natural attractions in Sibenik (if not counting Krka National Park).
The promenade alongside channel is more than four kilometres long and is ideal for everyone who wants to have some recreation in nature. It is good for bikers and runners as well.

St. James Cathedral
Sibenik Cathedral is architecture masterpiece from the 15th century. It features gothic and renaissance elements because its construction lasted 100 years. Furthermore, it is entirely made of stone.
Another attraction of the cathedral are sculptures of human heads on the walls.
Alongside the fortresses, Sibenik Cathedral is number one cultural tourist attraction in Sibenik.
Ticket price for visiting the cathedral is around 2 euros.

Beach Banj is city beach located 1 kilometre away from the centre of the city. It is pebble beach ideal for swimming and sunbathing for visitors who stay somewhere in the old town.
The beach features all necessary facilities: free showers, rental of sun loungers, beach bar& restaurant Petrus, which works as a nightclub as well.
Another attraction of the beach is a panoramic view of Sibenik and St. Anthony's channel. It is accessible for a wheelchair. There are a few free parking place spaces just near the beach. Others need to pay a small amount of money for parking.

The most beautiful hotel in Sibenik is Bellevue. It is new 2018. luxury hotel located on Sibenik Riva. The hotel features rooms with panoramic view of Sibenik. Its location is excellent: all attractions in Sibenik are within 1-2 kilometres range.
Another attractive hotel is D-Resort Sibenik, which was built few years ago in Mandalina.
